I'm surprised no one commented on this post! I found this mentioned in a Note and glad I saved it to read it. This will be my first New Year where I get to really realistically embrace the year ahead and have time to reflect on it as well. Excited to do it and am grateful you left so many resources as guides! I'm gonna do the Year Compass and try to do the best thing of the week far fill! ♥

Thanks so much Cierra, I’m so glad to hear that! I use some of these tools every year and they help me so much. I’d love to hear how it goes for you. Happy (almost) new year!!

Thank *you*!! I always loved New Year’s but I lost my mom December 9th last year. As you can imagine I wasn’t in a state to do much of anything by New Year! And for 8 years before, I was her caregiver full time. 2024 feels like I’m a college student post-commencement speech--SO much feels possible for a new year, especially after spending most of 2023 healing, resting, and developing new habits. :)

I am so glad to hear this feels like an opportunity for renewal for you! I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I am sure this time of year will come with a lot of heaviness and emotions for you, but the fact you also feel so much hope is such a strong testament to who you are. Enjoy it!

Aww thank you so much, Jillian! I really appreciate it! I'm definitely in a better/more clear headspace than this time last year so I'm eager to try my hand and being accountable completely for my life, haha. :)
