Sounds like an amazing trip! And a very timely newsletter.. I am reading The Comfort Crisis and the author talks about how nature and boredom are both so important for us.
The travel days down to Mexico and back were rough — I could only be outside looking at the sea or lying in bed. Otherwise it wasn't bad! Food was INSANE — there's a great chef onboard and they stuff you with big meals constantly, and snacks galore, plus dessert at dinner every night. Accommodations were simple bunk beds at the bottom of the boat, but comfy enough for me! If you have more q's I'm happy to answer!

It was amazing, thank you! The Comfort Crisis is such an apt title...too much comfort means too little brain space. Thanks for the rec!
Definitely a bucket list check off!!
A BIG one! Love you!
Love this sooo much! Sounds so so beautiful
It was simply magical!
Reading the Vox article now. Congrats!
Also, I can't help thinking of Katy Perry in 2008. "I kissed a whale, and I liked it."
Thanks Amanda! Don't worry, I sang that refrain SEVERAL times.
So cool!!! Did you get seasick? How was the food? How was the accommodations? So many questions!!!
